Nigerian rapper Naira Marley has thrown shade at the organizers of the Headies awards ceremony after his good friend Zlatan Ibile lost out on the “Next Rated” award.

The keenly contested category saw Zlatan face-off Rema, Victor AD, Fireboy among others but unfortunately for him, Rema bagged the prestigious award on the night which comes with a brand new car.

Reacting to the news, Naira Marley, who was busy thrilling his fans in UK while the Headies was going on, tweeted a jab at the organisers saying that Zlatan Ibile’s famous leg work dance is bigger than the awards ceremony.

“Leg work bigger than headies2019,” Naira Marley wrote in support of his friend.

Wizkid who hosted Naira Marley and other A-list Nigerian artistes in UK for his Starboyfest jumped on Naira’s tweet and simply added “100” in agreement to his post.
